Josh Blacker

I got hooked on music and the music industry at an early age.  I began with the Clarinet in Elementary School, added the Saxophone in Junior High and continued by studying Violin, Flute, Guitar, Keyboards and Vocals through High School, College and Graduate School.  In addition to playing, composing and recording music of every style and variety with countless different ensembles I’ve also had career in the music products industry.  Starting in the nascent stages of electronic keyboards I’ve demonstrated, sold and helped design numerous keyboard and audio products over the last forty years.  Music has been a lifelong pursuit and I’ve been fortunate to have toured nationally and internationally with different ensembles.  I’m really enjoying playing with the incredibly talented members of “The Get Down.”
